Self-styled businesswoman Mama Gee has become popular overnight after The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) in collaboration with the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service arrested her over the sale of libido boosters and love charms.
Her shop which is located at Madina but mostly operates on instagram was raided by the authorities and items confiscated for investigations.
Mama Gee has been selling herbal concoctions to gullible clients for over a year without approval from the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
A video by Adomonline.Com reveals that she’s had backing from some popular faces in the past who used and endorsed her products.
The list of such celebrities includes Kumawood actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa, Akuapem Polo, AJ Pounds and many others.
