Fast rising musician Kelvyn Boy who is affiliated to Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group has won the 2018 VGMA Unsung Category ahead of the main event.
Kelvyn Boy who was competing with fellow rising stars Dope Nation, Dhat Gyal, OBK, Real MC and Christian was declared winner of the unsung category which was made official by Charterhouse Ghana and supported by Closeup.
He now secures a spot to perform alongside big shots such as Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Joe Mettle, Nasty C and several others billed to perform on Saturday, 14th of April at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The VGMA’s unsung category seeks to honour artistes who graced the musical year with great songs, videos and performances but however were not given the celebration due them.
