There’s a new crown holder of the Miss Malaika Ghana pageant.
Leah Brown, a 21 year old University of Ghana student reading Political Science and French has been adjudged Miss Malaika Ghana 2016.
The event held at the National Theatre on Saturday also saw Amanda Edem Fiawosime, a student of the University of Ghana (Studying Business Administration (Insurance) place second with Delsey Hamilton Yankah, a student from University of Cape Coast studying business management taking the third position.
For nearly 13 weeks, the ladies had gone through an intensive journey of rediscovery and grooming in preparation for the finals hoping to win and begin a new journey as a National Youth Ambassador for the campaign against the spread of Malaria.
Lead Brown drove home a Renault Captur, got one year wardrobe supply, one year hair supply from Hair Senta, trip to Dubai, $10,000 scholarship from Abbeam Institute of Technology among others.
Miss Malaika is sponsored by UB hair relaxer, KIA by Rana Motors, Sivoderm, Ethiopian Airlines, Abbeam Institute and supported by Royco and Crown Paints. It is powered by GhOne TV.
