Sports betting offers a lot of people the “unreal” hope of making them millionaires overnight.
Of course, some realise that dream of being a millionaire through sports betting while others try very hard but are unable to recoup any monies from their numerous bets.
During sporting seasons, scores of people are seen holding their bet slips hoping that the unknown god of sports tips the results in their favour.
However, according to Igbere TV, a middle aged Nigerian popularly known as Papa Ebube decided to commit suicide when he failed to win a bet worth N36 million.
According to Igbere TV, residents in the area confirmed that he committed suicide because he lost a bet naija ticket that could have earned him the huge amount.
