Referee Clèment Turpin has suspended the ongoing game between OGC Nice and Olympique Marseille 25 minutes in because of a banner which was viewed as homophobic by match officials.
The game is back underway and below is the banner which was viewed as homophobic.
The banner means, “LFP: More fans in the stand means a more gay stadium”.
Translation: “LFP: More fans in the stands means a more gay (happy – “play on words”) stadium.”
