Sarkodie has won his 2nd BET Award as he was crowned the winner in the Best International Flow Category at the 2019 BET HipHop Awards.
Sarkodie won his first BET Award in 2012 and was subsequently nominated twice — in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
However, he made history as the winner of the newly created category, which is aimed at highlighting artists from different countries such as Nigeria, UK, France, South Africa, Ghana and Canada.
He was nominated alongside Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K.), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K.), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada).
