Petrice Jones is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on April 15, 1998 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Jones attended Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, where he was a four-year letterman and two-time All-Catholic League selection. He was rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals.com and was ranked as the No. 33 overall prospect in the class of 2016.
Jones committed to play college basketball for the University of Pittsburgh, where he played for two seasons. As a freshman, he averaged 8.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. As a sophomore, he averaged 11.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
In 2018, Jones declared for the NBA draft and was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 60th overall pick. He made his NBA debut on October 23, 2018, and has since become a regular contributor off the bench for the 76ers.
