Telecommunications giants, MTN staged the annual ‘MTN Stands In Worship Concert’ on Saturday, 6th October, 2018 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair. The event brought together celebrated gospel artistes from Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria which included: Joe Mettle, Eugene Zuta, Pastor Joe Beecham, Patrick Duncan, Sammie Okposo and many more.

Pastor Joe Beecham treated all attendees to a wonderful welcome as he ushered them into worship mood with series of songs which got the crowd moving.

Eugene Zuta was next up and he did his bid to keep the participants in ‘Heaven on earth’. Eugene Zuta was immense and his passion-filled delivery kept the crowd in awe of the wholesome blessings of God.

‘Captain’ Koda delivered a spirited performance and was able to keep the crowd singing along with him, especially when his ‘old but classical’ songs were played. His mastery of the guitar cannot be disputed as he won the admiration of all with his gracious performances.

Obaapa Christy, famed for her innate ability to increase the tempo when delivering her songs was the next to take the crowd by storm. She got the crowd dancing and was able to remind the old of their youthful days.

After the performances of Yaw Sarpong and Celestine Donkor, Nigeria’s Sammie Okposo wowed the crowd. Okposo then took up the duties of an MC as he introduced the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artist of the year, Joe Mettle.

Joe Mettle received a rapturous standing ovation from the crowd after his mouth-watering performance.
‘Phindikulume’ hitmaker, Patrick Duncan closed the chapter with his ‘annointing-filled’ performances.

The crowd was unable to hide their excitement when he performed his hit song, Phindikulume.
Altogether, it was a very exciting event and we cannot wait for the next edition of ‘Mtn stands in worship’.

However, the multimillion dollar question is: which artiste will headline the next edition of MTN’s Stand in worship concert?
