Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie’s meteoric rise to the pinnacle of Ghana’s music industry has been nothing short of awe inspiring.
He’s an epitome of the assertion: hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard. He has paid – and is still paying his dues to Ghana’s music.
And during a program on Hitz FM, Sarkodie took us to his “Obidi” days as he reproduced his startling performance in “Lay Away”, a song which featured Sway.

That was just an appetizer as Sarkodie revealed that he’ll be performing “Lay Away” during his much anticipated Rapperholic Concert which is set to take place later tonight at the Accra International Conference Center.
