Selena Gomez’s Social Media Posts Valued at Over Half a Million Dollars

Who said it doesn’t pay to have an instagram account?

According to E!‘s report — Selena Gomez could be making serious bank on her instagram account as she stands to rack a whooping $550,000 for sponsored content that appears across Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

So while you’re waiting patiently for those likes and favs, Selena Gomez is racking in major dollars for her social media posts.

The number comes from the firm D’Marie Analytics, who ranked Selena as the most influential celebrity or brand. (These days, aren’t they kind of the same?) And with 180 million followers across her platforms, it’s no wonder she’s got the clout.

But there’s another reason why her posts are so valuable: they’re few and far between. Though her Coca-Cola Instagram is currently the most-liked photo on the social photo service, and she also fronts campaigns for Pantene and Louis Vuitton, she doesn’t post sponsored content often. The result is a more authentic feed, so when she does post a sponsored photo, there’s even more bang for the advertiser’s buck.

Oh, and in case you were wondering? It’s way more money than Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Cara Delevingne were valued at back in December. Then again, their profiles have risen in rank, too, so they’re likely making more per Instagram now than they were just six months ago, too. Basically what we’re saying is … girls, next time we all head to dinner, you’re picking up the check. Pretty please?
