Efia Odo has reacted to BBC’s latest exposè dubbed sex for grades which sought to expose male lecturers who demand sex from their students prior to assisting them or awarding them grades.
The outspoken actress and media personality via a tweet opined that said sex given in exchange for grades and jobs happens all over the world and that despite the exposè, such a practise will not come to an end.
“No difference between sex for grades and sex for a job.Happens in America, Africa and all parts of the world. The fucked up part about this “revelation” is that its not gonna stop!!”
In a rejoinder tweet which served as a response to the fiery responses meted out to her over her previous tweet, Efia Odo intimated that the documentary will only make men who engage in such acts to become more careful.
“As long as there are vulnerable young women, there will be sex in exchange for something! This narrative ain’t gone change. What’s really gonna happen is that these assholes of men will just be a little more careful. They will start checking for hiding cameras. God help us all!”
