Controversial Ghanaian musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr popularly known as Shatta “WMT” Wale has announced his intentions of retiring from active music.

The “Kakai” hitmaker made this revelation in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on her popular talk show “The Delay” show.

Apparently, the SM boss intends retiring from active music in 2020.

According to Shatta Wale, his intent to retire in 2020 is premised on the fact that he has learnt the business side of showbiz and was making the right savings to make life better even when he retired.

“I’ve told my manager I want to retire by 2020 and I’m working towards that. I save a lot and don’t spend too much on so when I want to buy anything any day, I can go ahead and do it”, he said.

Shatta Wale admitted he knows exactly how to get people talking about him and so we cannot be sure if this is one of the sayings to get the general public talking about him.
