Tanzania’s Regional Commisioner, Paul Makonda seems to be taking his concept of love to a relatively higher level.

He has posited that 40% of husband’s monthly salaries be deducted and transferred into the accounts of their wives.

Tanzanian Regional Commissioner, Paul Makonda has called on the Parliament to pass a bill that will give 40% of men’s monthly salaries to their wives. The money will be deducted from the bank accounts of the husbands and transfered straight to the accounts of the wives.

It’s clear that Makonda is thinking about the future of these ladies especially, if there is a divorce.

However, is such a proposal way over the board?

More so, what if a man has more than one wife? Will the same 40% be deducted and shared amongst them?
