Knox County Opts For “The Monster, Kane” As Mayor
WWE Superstar, Kane on Thursday, 2nd August 2018 in Tennessee won the Knox County mayoral race in a landslide. Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs earlier on, narrowly won the Republican primary race by 17 votes in May.
Kane, defeated his Democrat opponent, Linda Haney by earning nearly two-thirds of the nearly 80,000 total ballots casted, ESPN reported.
Kane is known in the WWE circles as the brother of The Undertaker but surprisingly, they endured a tumultuous relationship as brothers and fought each other severally.

The Monster and Big Red Machine, Kane was last seen in WWE action at Extreme Rules in July where he and his Team Hell No partner, Daniel Bryan lost to The Bludgeon Brothers.
Kane begins his mayoral duties on 1st September.
