Efia Odo often gets lambasted by many social media users because of her choice of dressing. Some people feel that celebrities like her serve as role models to the youth and hence she must endeavour to dress “decently”.
On the contrary, Odo has always maintained that there’s more to one’s actual behaviour than the way he/she dresses. Odo has always felt that many are very religious at the expense of being spiritual and that is why they tend to abuse celebrities on social media if their opinions differs from that of the celebs.
It is also a public assertion that in order to reduce/ curb the canker of rape, ladies ought to dress “appropriately”, covering their bodies to the fullest so that there will be nothing left for such “hungry” men to feast their eyes upon.
That assertion, though relevant is definately not the solution, especially considering how globalized the world has become.
Society has evolved hence, preeminence must be given to self control on the part of men.
Efia Odo’s assertions aren’t far from that.
She definately ticked all the correct boxes when she tweeted that “it’s your thoughts that make nudity sexual”.
Some husbands see their wives nude and still don’t get turned on, but if they see their sidechick na wabo jack. So like I said it’s your thoughts that makes nudity sexual.

One’s nudity cannot have an effect on you unless you “give in” mentally.
So to the indisciplined men, “the war against indiscipline must go on”.
