The cancelled concert

Fancy Gadam has cancelled his concert with Nigerian artiste, Patoranking after 8 of his fans were reported dead in a gory accident.

Fans of the northern-based artiste set off for the Tamale Airport to welcome him and Patoranking, for a show scheduled for today. It was en route to the Airport that the vehicle conveying his fans collided with an oncoming vehicle that had a tyre burst, resulting in the driver veering off the road.
Eight people have been confirmed dead while others sustained various injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

In a facebook post, Facy Gadam said “My heart is heavy right now, words can’t describe how I feel. I am sorry to announce to you that my show with Patoranking scheduled to come off tomorrow [which is today, 30th June 2018] has been postponed indefinitely….I can’t lose my fans and still have the heart to stage a show”.

Fancy Gadam

Fancy Gadam won the most popular song of the year in controversial circumstances at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with his song, “Total Cheat”.
