The roof of the popular Kumasi city mall has caved in.
Nhyira FM’s Nana Awuku who disclosed this on Adom FM’s Morning show, Dwaso Nsem said the roof came down Tuesday Morning.
It is unclear what triggered the incident but Nana Awuku said the ceiling at the section that houses the GAME shop collapsed shortly before the scheduled time for the shop to open.
No fatality has been recorded.
Management of the facility, however, say they are on top of the issue and have promised that the place will be cleaned up soon.
National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) officials who were on the ground said the situation was nowhere near a disaster.
The have urged the public not to panic as the situation has been brought under control.
