Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is arguably one of the most controversial musicians the Ghanaian entertainment industry has seen and this upshot is from his unapologetic and confident statements he makes in public.

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 the “Dancehall King” made an appearance as the closing act at Tinny’s organised “Haatso Homowo Carnival” at the forecourt of the kings palace following series of artistes who had their turn on the night. In the middle of his performance, the “Kakai” hit maker took a cue to lash out at some entertainers in the music industry hinting that most of them live fake lives — obviously something we have a clue about from old.

According to Shatta, “plenty of the artistes who stormed the stage have got nothing important to boast of”. “They only drive in flashy cars, dress in fancy clothes with coated accessories only for our screens”, he adds.

The SM boss went on to flaunt his two gold neck pieces, a customized gold ring and a silver ring with a black rhinestone estimated to cost GhC35,000.

RockstarGhana.Com cameras was there on the night and indeed anyone who didn’t move a muscle was surely there because of Shatta Wale.
