“Keteke” and “Sidechic Gang” released in 2017 and 2018 respectively by Ghanaian film maker Peter Sedufia are now available on Netflix.
“Keteke”, a film is set in the 1980s, tells a story of a pregnant Atswei (Lydia Forson) and her husband Boi (Adjetey Anang) who are trying to reach Atswei’s village so she can give birth. The only source of transportation is a weekly train that they miss, forcing them to seek alternative transportation and launching them on an impromptu adventure through rural Ghana
“Sidechic Gang” tells a story about three female friends who quit their real jobs as ushers to pursue a job which pays more and better than their old jobs they set up “sidechic gang”.
