The world’s still mourning the loss of basketball giant, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Maria Bryant who passed away in a tragic plane crash.
Tributes have been pouring in and one thing stands out: everyone acknowledges that Bryant’s influence transcended basketball.
And yeah, it’s very much true – he was also a poet! In 2016, after Bryant retired from the game of basketball, he wrote a poem entitled ‘Dear Basketball ‘which won the Oscars in 2018 for Best Short Animated Film.
