Dan Mazzulla is a professional basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach of the University of Dayton Flyers men’s basketball team. He is also the former head coach of the University of Akron Zips men’s basketball team.
Dan Mazzulla is married to Latresa Mazzulla, a former professional basketball player. Latresa is of African-American and Italian descent and was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended the University of Akron, where she played basketball for the Zips.
Latresa was a four-year starter for the Zips and was named to the All-MAC Second Team in her senior year. She was also named to the All-MAC Academic Team in her senior year. After college, Latresa played professionally in Europe for several years before retiring in 2011.
Latresa and Dan have been married since 2011 and have two children together. They currently reside in Dayton, Ohio.
Latresa is an active member of the community and is involved in several charitable organizations. She is a board member of the Akron Urban League and is a member of the Akron Women’s Network. She is also a member of the Akron Alumni Association and the Akron Chapter of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Latresa is a strong advocate for women’s rights and is passionate about helping young women reach their full potential. She is a mentor to many young women in the Akron area and is a role model for many aspiring female athletes.
Latresa and Dan are both committed to making a positive impact in the community and are dedicated to helping young people reach their goals. They are an inspiration to many and are a great example of a successful and loving couple.
