With the influx of foreign culture and technology, Kumawood movies have been able to stand firm.
Even though foreign movies with better sound and picture quality are made readily available on the market where they compete everyday with the infant local industry — Kumawood movies are still making sales because people are watching. Let me add that comparing that to our music industry which has suffered the adulteration of foreign genres such as RnB, hip hop etc. Kumawood movies do not follow the trend on the International market but rather stick to what they are good at — thus standing the test of time.
