As one of the heroes in modern football, a giant mural in honor of Mohammed Salah was recently done on a building in Egypt.
Salah capped off the 2018/19 season by helping Liverpool FC to secure the UEFA Champions League trophy and in the process, became the first Egyptian to win Europe’s most coveted club trophy. He also finished the Premier League season as joint top scorer together with Sadio Mane and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
To the neutrals, after leading Egypt to its maiden World Cup appearance in 2018, Salah is an AFCON trophy away from cementing his status as Egypt’s Greatest Of All-Time (GOAT).
The artwork depicts Salah’s yoga pose celebration after he netted a screamer against Chelsea to seal off a 2-0 win at Anfield last season.
