Fast rising dancehall musician Ebony Reigns not long ago released her new single “sponsor” which became an instant hit — enjoying airplay around the country.
Initially, the song had verses from dancehall “magnate” Shatta Wale but the self acclaimed dancehall king on countless times failed to show up during video shoot sessions for the song, prompting Team Ebony to discard his verse and reinvent her brand new single “Sponsor” as a solo piece.
However, the original song which has now been turned into a remix has been released online and some music fanatics are not happy with the results.
Some fans who have heard the song have opined that the solo version without Shatta Wale’s verse is far better than the original one with his verse on it.
