Television and radio talk show host, actress, philanthropist, sex educator, relationship expert and marriage counsellor Akumaa Mama Zimbi (known in private life as Dr. Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi) is very disappointed in Fante rapper Pappy Kojo and Ghanaians in general.
For a while now, the Fante rapper has been championing a new trend called “Yi Wo Dross” (remove your dress) with the hashtag #YiWoDress on all social media platforms. In a contrary turn of events, the award winning marriage counsellor has also launched her project dubbed Wear Your Dress #WearYourDress to advocate for ladies to preserve their dignity in relationships. The campaign started today with a relationship talk at Mensah Sarbah Hall quadrangle in University Of Ghana, Legon.
Today, Mama Zimbi received a shock of her life when in a poll conducted by @GhPolls saw 68% of Ghanaians opting for Pappy Kojo’s #YiWoDross ideology rather than hers. Akumaa expressed her disappointment by writing “It is very unfortunate to see this results on @GhPolls, yet still #WearYourDrossNow #Medaase ”
