Multi award winning Ghanaian Gospel music producer known for producing most of the biggest Gospel songs in Ghana, George Forest is reported dead.
According to his publicist Isaac Yaw Owusu who spoke to www.nydjlive.com. the producer who was taken ill and admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital yesterday August 30 2016 died in the wee hours of Wednesday August 31 2016.
“His sickness had been on and off. So we’ll report to the hospital thinking it’s malaria and return home but this time, the unfortunate happened. It’s ssad news and I speak, we are the hospital yet to take him to the morgue”
George Forest aside his contribution to Gospel music is also credited for a number of hit high life songs including Nana Acheampong`s ‘Anka ebeye den na aye wo ya’
Cause of death is immediately unknown.
