Olympique Lyonnais winger, Memphis Depay has been spending his holidays in Ghana. Via his foundation – the Memphis foundation, he has ensured that beams of smiles are etched on the faces of special children at The Cape Coast School For The Deaf and Blind. When Depay visited the school in 2018, he promised to visit at least, once a year – a promise he has duly fulfilled by visiting again in 2019.
This year’s visit has been memorable and touching.
He wore the uniform of the Cape Coast Coast School for the Deaf and Blind.
He also slept in the school.
His most recent act? He sat in a sign language class with some of the deaf students to learn some new things.
The children of Cape Deaf, in Ghana, fill me with pure happiness. Seeing the way they live with such positive energy is an inspiration and I was blessed to sit in a sign language class with them and learn new things! ???????????????? pic.twitter.com/qSiMM89fJi
