COVID-19 Lockdown: How President Nana Akufo-Addo Touched Hearts With Powerful Speech

After President Nana Akufo-Addo addressed his country on Friday, March 27, 2020 to announce a partial lockdown of some parts of the country, a lot of smiles beamed on the faces of Ghanaians as they were won over by the President’s speech.

“Nana akasa yie paa” which means Nana has spoken very well were the words of commendation on the lips of numerous Ghanaians.

The effect of those words have transcended the shores of Ghana and now, resonate all over the world as several people in different geographical locations have commended Ghana’s President for the wise words he used.

The words, “We know how to bring the economy back to life. What we do not know is how to bring people back to life” has left tons of satisfaction on people all over the world and they’ve hailed Ghana’s President for his display of passion.
