There will be no winners for the “Artiste Of the Year” and “Song Of the Year” categories at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 as they have been nullified by the board.
The VGMA board have decided to not to announce the winners of the awards since that could instigate another commotion as seen as the awards night on Saturday May 18.
The board also banned the musicians indefinitely from the awards scheme, and also stripped them of any awards won on the night.
By convention, the late Ebony Reigns still holds the title for the Artiste Of The Year category, having won it in 2018 posthumously.
She may be gone but she still reigns even in death.
