Actress Lydia Forson did not mince words when she called some followers of Ghana’s biggest Dancehall acts, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale as “nkrasifuo” meaning “villagers”.
The actress through a series of tweets has been chastising the artistes, the organizers and followers for the unfortunate incident that happened on the eve of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
She quizzed whether these fans who all so aggressive with the rivalry between the musicians have royalties in their careers.
Lydia Forson who shared her opinion on the supposed “beef” between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy mentioned that ” To the fans. Some of you y3 nkrasifu) paaaa. The music no, you get royalties for inside? You people for shun dey fool. Some of you take this rivalry thing too far aden? You do ah, now see as we all dey suffer”.
The VGMA board have banned the musicians indefinitely from the awards scheme, and also stripped them of any awards won on the night.
This means the two dancehall acts are to return all the plaques they won on the VGMA night.
