Rapper Edem has officially launched the 2018 edition of his Edemfest.
The multiple award-winning rapper launched the 2nd annual music festival on Monday, October 15, at Urbano Hotel in Osu, Accra.
Edemfest 2018 comes off Friday November 2, at the Aborigine Beach Resort, Keta.
This year’s event will be attended by over 20,000 patrons – double of the number we recorded last year – Edem confidently said.
A day-long event highlighted by a grand musical concert, Edemfest serves as an aspect of the rapper’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities, and consist of various activities catering to art, culture, tourism and business
According to the rapper, the great festival will witness great performances from great music stars in Ghana.
Last year, the festival was held on the Keta High Street, with the core aim of raising awareness on illegal fishing. This year, the event which serves as a prelude to the Hogbetsotso Festival will be held with objective of tackling Sand-winning and open defecation.
