Ghana Is In Major Debt and You People Are Happy – Efia Odo Reacts To People Celebrating Nana Addo’s Win

Actress and television presenter, Efia Odo, says she feels sad that a country that is experiencing a major crisis in terms of debt can be happy in these difficult times.

Efia Odo in a series of posts on Twitter vented her frustrations minutes after Nana Addo was declared President of Ghana for a second term.

According to her, she doesn’t understand why an indebted country like Ghana should celebrate an election. In a previous post that was made prior to the declaration, she mentioned that she was anxious to know who the next ‘corrupter’ will be.

She added that although she’s neither an NPP nor NDC sympathizer, she just wishes that more was done for the people of Ghana.

She again bemoaned about the dirty nature of our environment and suggested to the President to close all open gutters.

Meanwhile, The presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has retained his seat in closely contested elections against the main opposition leader, John Dramani Mahama.

Akuffo-Addo won 6,730,413 votes with representing 51.295%, whiles John Mahama lost with 6,214,889 votes representing 47.366%.
