Ghana’s Queen of TikTok, Jackline Mensah has made an appearance on CGTN Africa, the African bureau of China Global Television Network, which is the English-language news channel run by Chinese state broadcaster China Central Television.
The budding actress who launched her career on the Chinese video sharing app has had her popularity grow over a short spate of time.
The 19-year old currently has over 390,000 Followers with a total of 4.9M Likes, making her one of the most influential personalities on the app.
Speaking to Africa Live, Jackline said the app has helped her to improve on her acting skills and she now dreams of becoming a movie star. She added that her focus now is to take her acting career to Hollywood someday.
In her chat with CGTN’s journalist Nabil Ahmed Rufai, Jackline said she’s now getting extra income from TikTok through advertising for brands that approach her.
