Contradiction 1.0? I Came Into The Music Industry For Business And Money, Not Awards – Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has disclosed his motivation for joining the music industry and it’s primarily “all about the money”!
During an interview with Kisa Gbekle, the Dancehall King also revealed the strategies he has being using to enrich his bank account.
During the interview with Kisa Gbekle on the Business Of Entertainment Show, Shatta Wale said:

“I’m religious but when it comes to the business side, God knows that when I have to say some hard word in music, I will say it,”

“My society has not gotten that business path that we are on but getting to know me much better will make them understand,” he added.

Wale also expressed his disappointment and dissatisfaction at irregularities that have prevented and are still preventing Ghana’s music industry from being bigger than it currently is.

On that, he said:

“In the industry we find ourselves, we don’t get certain facilities to explore, so we don’t get the outside world to know how good we are,”

Shatta Wale revealed that the music industry is a very lucrative venture, adding that he has made a lot of money through it.

He advised his colleague musicians to strategize and focus on the business side of the industry in order to reap from the hours of hardwork they put in at the music studios.

Hate him or love him but one thing is true – Shatta Wale’s influence on our music industry has been immense!
