Football’s one heck of a game – there’s limitless entertainment albeit with some dose of unpredictability.
Arsenal are the latest victims of football’s unpredictable nature. A trip to the Borisov Arena in Belarus to face BATE Borisov in the UEFA Europa League always appeared to be a “cool chop” for the Gunners. Little did we know that the Gunners could be gunned down. Arsenal were pipped 1-0 in Belarus but to add insult to injury, Lacazette was red carded.
The surprise is even greater when you take a look at the mammoth financial gaps between the English Powerhouse Arsenal and the reigning Belarus champions, BATE borisov.
According to talkSport.com, the entire BATE Borisov squad is worth a “paltry” £200,000. Want some more?
Also, in its entire forty-six year history (formed in 1973), BATE Borisov has spent only £11.5 million pounds on transfers.
