There was a feeling of general dissatisfaction yesternight when President Nana Addo announced that the lockdown has been lifted.
Some people expected that owing to the surge in the number of corona virus cases recorded in Ghana, the lockdown would have been extended.
That notwithstanding, others are also happy that alas, ‘normal life’ can resume.
The General Manager of CITI FM, Samuel Attah Mensah has advised that we continue our personal lockdowns if we are not in support of the President’s decision.
In as much as the general feeling has now become, “your life is now in your own hands”, what about those who by no fault of theirs, cannot institute personal lockdowns because they’d be recalled by their bosses to come to work?
It’s a really tough one, isn’t it?
