An unidentified man has climbed a telephone mast at Asenua in the Kwabre East district and is refusing to get down until president Akufo-Addo wins the election and is declared winner.
The incident happened earlier today and all attempts to persuade him to come down have so far proven futile.
He reportedly climbed with foodstuffs which he intends to eat throughout his stay atop the mast, according to the assemblyman for Asenua electoral area, Kaakyire Asumadu.
However, the general elections are scheduled to be held in Ghana on 7 December 2020.
