The Black Stars lost 4-5 to Tunisia on penalties after playing out a pulsating 1-1 draw. Owing to our performance in penalty shoot-outs in recent times, we shouldn’t be surprised.
Back in Ghana, the dissapointment was huge……..passionate Ghanaians thronged various social media platforms to divulge their “post mortem” on the Black Stars.
President Akuffo Addo couldn’t hide his disappointment as he tweeted that he was gutted by the exit of the Black Stars. He also wished the team luck and implored them to bounce back stronger and make us all proud.
Like most Ghanaians, I am gutted by the exit of the Black Stars at AFCON 2019. I wish the team better luck next time. I am confident they will bounce back even stronger, and make all of us proud once again. ????????
