Ajax Amsterdam F.C snapped up promising Ghanaian midfielder, Kudus Mohammed from FC Nordsjaelland for a reported fee of €9million. The fee makes Kudus the most expensive teenager in Ghanaian football history.
Kudus is a versatile footballer with a very nimble left foot. He is thought to be the immediate replacement of Hakim Ziyech who departed Ajax for Chelsea F.C.
Kudus scored 11 goals and registered an assist in 25 games for FC Nordsjaelland and was nominated for the 2020 Golden Boy Awards, an award which recognizes the best upcoming youth talents in football.
