Africa’s biggest streaming service; Boomplay, has been distributing plaques to top streaming artists on the platform.
The tenth artist to receive this award is Ghanaian female singer and Superstar, Wendy Shay for her song ‘Emergency’, which features Busom P Yung.
Over the years, Wendy Shay has been consistent in releasing hits for her fans and Ghanaians.
Currently, the singer has a total of 9.5M total streams on Boomplay, with her recent album, Shayning Star, amassing 2.1M streams.
Excited about her award, Wendy Shay expressed her appreciation to Boomplay for the support over the years.
She also thanked her management Rufftown records and encouraged her fans to look out for more songs from her this year.
