Actress and philanthropist, Juliet Ibrahim has detailed her real life experiences in a self-written book titled ” A toast to life”.
“A toast to life”, Juliet Ibrahim’s autobiography was launched on Sunday, August 5 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The major theme of the book is around surviving, broken relationships, single parenthood and starting afresh. The star studded event had in attendance, Chigurl, RMD, Elvina Ibru, Charles Tudor amongst other Nollywood celebrities.
The book is on sale on her website atoasttolifebook.com and can also be bought via Amazon.
Earlier, the actress shared a video snippet on her social media pages detailing how she survived three civil wars, conquered depression, amongst others.
She detailed “my life has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. I have cried, I have been broken, I have felt fear, I have had close shaves with death, I have been depressed, I have laughed, I have healed, I have been brave, I have survived.”
She added “every experience has shaped the woman I am today. From surviving 3 civil wars to becoming the Juliet Ibrahim.”
