Jamie Carragher was as solid as a rock during his playing days at Liverpool and on the occassion of his 41st birthday, he has named the greatest Premier League defender of all time.
Carragher’s choice doesn’t really come as a surprise.
Virgil Van Dijk has been enormous at the back for Liverpool F. C and it’s of little surprise that some pundits have described him as a combination of John Terry, Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.
Is it too early for Van Dijk to be viewed as the greatest Premier League defender of all time?
