A gesture by players of both Bayern Munich and TSG Hoffeinheim has taken the sporting world by storm.
With about 15 minutes to go, players of both teams decided not to score but kick the ball around in order to show solidarity with the Hoffeinheim owner who was abused by some fans of Bayern Munich who unveiled a banner which referred to the TSG owner as the ‘son of a whore’.
The referee stopped the game and after he called the players back from their dressing rooms, they decided not to score.
However, at the time of the incidence, Bayern Munich were already 0 – 6 up.
