Hollywood actor, Steven Seagal has been appointed as a “special representative” to improve relations between Russia and America, Russia’s Foreign Ministry announced on the 4th of August on its website.
Seagal, a very popular actor in Eastern Europe was granted both Russian and Serbian citizenships in 2016.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Seagal’s new position is going to be [blessedly] unpaid and involves him “facilitating relations between Russia and the United States in the humanitarian field”.
