The death of former President Rawlings has rekindled some mixed emotions in Ghanaians, with some expressing joy over his demise.
Earlier, Nana Serwaa Acheampong, daughter of former President, Ignatius Kutu Acheampong in a lengthy message revealed that the death of Rawlings was too easy and comfortable unlike her father’s. According to her, Rawlings executed her father by firing squad when she was 6 years old.
Her comments generated some mixed reactions from Ghanaians, with many chastising her for the unfortunate words.
Similarly, Akwasi A Afrifa Akoto, the son of General Afrifa whose father was also murdered under Rawlings’ regime has also come out to react to his death. According to him, his death was not tragic enough.
