Last week Saturday’s Episode of Your Favorite Youth Show “Mmabun Ahyia” with Nana Otu Darko on Light TV was Full of Inspirations as Well as Unexpected Revelations That will Leave your Mouth Wide Open.
The last standing soldier Nana Otu Darko hosted famous gospel artist Nana Yaw Boakye, popularly known in the populace as MOG. Despite the great motivational messages that was squirting from the gospel artist, there was a lot of things he said that made us truly believe that God has really altered the gentleman.
According to the gospel artist he was once a victim of masturbation, womanizing, drinking and an ardent smoker. Read what he said;
” Yeah, I used to smoke, I was taking alcohol heavily which even led me into womanizing; some of my friends are even in prison as am speaking today. I have had struggles with masturbation and it’s all by the grace we have been able to overcome all.”
According to MOG, those experiences place him in the right position to advise and counsel the young ones who are facing similar challenges.
He also stated that Kwasi Oteng has massively influenced his music, and he is therefore his favourite gospel artist. MOG once again pulled another surprise when he revealed that he is coming up with a song with Sarkodie;
“well my favorite hip life artist is Sarkodie, I’m actually cooking up a song with him. I actually grew up with him in the same neighborhood , we are very good friends and I know his genesis with what he has been through, I really admire him so much.” He stated.
Nana Yaw Boakye concluded his interview with great words of motivation to the youth. He advised the youth not to see failure as the end, but rather something that should keep you on the ladder of life. He admonished the youth not to be used as channels for conflicts in the upcoming elections, they should all join hands to engage in projects that will foster nothing but peace to ensure a peaceful election.
