The Sun reported yesterday that Paul Pogba flew his London based barber to Russia for a 24-hour stay that saw 12 other France internationals line up for a trim.Ahmed Alsanawi, the self-taught hairdresser is the owner of footballers’ barbering base, A Star Barbers. He spent 18 hours at France’s world cup traing base in Moscow giving the players their new hair-do before their cruch game against Peru.
26 year old Alsanawi owns a small shop in Chessington, Surrey but his incredible talent and creativity in barbering has endeared him to the likes of Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard and Benjamin Mendy. Alsanawi told SunSport “I’ve got Pogba and Mendy but the French players know me through Instagram and they wanted a cut when they knew I was coming”.
Alsanawi is gradually building his reputation as the footballers’ barber as he regularly trims Eden Hazard’s hair. During his visit to the French training camp, he trimmed the hair of Kylian M’bappe, Samuel Umtiti, Ousmane Dembele, N’golo Kante and a host of other players.
Alsanawi’s point is clear; IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU DO. JUST DO IT TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY AND ALL IS GONNA BE WELL.
